 It is just that, Vast Majority High Grade YELLOW / RED BOX dry aged mixed hardwood, with some Ironbark and red & spotted gum added, the perfect mix which gives off a clean hot heat with minimal smoke 

It is sourced from sustainable farms all over country QLD, split and left to dry out for over a year and delivered to us clean and ready to burn.

A firewood that is a high-density mix, giving long lasting heat, very clean and cheaper than pure Ironbark.

The premium high-density Iron Bark mixed hardwood is comprised solely of Red and White Iron Bark that doesn't break the budget like the pure Iron Bark and River Red Gum varieties.

It gives off a great long lasting heat and the wood is very clean with minimal wastage.

Our Iron bark is a pure high density timber, when ignited gives greater heat content with minimal smoke making it ideal for indoor use in slow combustion heaters and fireplaces.

 Being a denser wood, Ironbark contains more heat per volume producing maximum heat and burning slower and more steadily and thus being the perfect fuel when ignited, providing warmth for longer periods of time.

Ironbarks are a very characteristic group of trees, so named on account of the thick, compact, hard bark.

The name however could equally apply to the timber itself, for it is certainly the ironwood of the whole Eucalyptus genus.

The wood is very heavy, hard and compact therefore long burning.

Microscopically, the fibres are seen to be very thick walled, compact and closely compressed.

Red gum is so named for its brilliant red wood, which can range from a light pink through to almost black, depending on the age and weathering. It is quite hard and is often cross-grained and great for long lasting fires.
